How to establish the connection between Android phone and Q-Band / Q-Watch?

A .Please follow the procedures below. Check if the Android version of your phone is Android 4.3 above, and if it does support Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy? You may refer to here to see more compatible devices.

To determine what version is running on your device, select "Settings > More > About Device" to check your Android version.

B. After you checked above, please follow the instructions below to wear the Q-Band / Q-Watch and connect with i-gotU Life app:

(1). Please download and install i-gotU Life app on your phone:

Please ensure that you have correctly worn the Q-Band / Q-Watch. Please refer to the user manual to help you wear correctly.

(2). After wearing your Q-Band / Q-Watch, please open i-gotU Life app and click "Yes. First time" to start the installation.
If you have installed this Q-Band / Q-Watch with any other phone before, please click "No, Not first time" .

(3). Please notice that: Please make sure your Q-Band / Q-Watch is fully charged when used for the first time.
It takes about 2 hours before it is fully charged. If you have not done that, Q-Band / Q-Watch would not be started normally.
If you select "Yes, Fist time", please click "NEXT" button, and skip to Step(4).


If you select "No, Not first time", please continue to do "Check Device Status" and "Reset Device Settings".

[Check Device Status]
Please switch Q-Band / Q-Watch to Daily mode, and make sure the signal strength icon does not appear.
If the signal strength icon appears, please click "here".

[Reset Device Settings]
Reset your Q-Band/Q-Watch device, please refer to the link below.

(4). If you have not turn on your phone Bluetooth function, it will ask you to turn it on. Please click "Allow".

(5). After turning on Bluetooth, i-gotU Life will start to search your Q-Band / Q-Watch.

Note:
If your phone Bluetooth cannot search Q-Band / Q-Watch, please try the followings:
1. If your Android version is v6.0.x, please enable the Location service(GPS).
2. Please click the Q-Band / Q-Watch button once and then back to App and scan again.
3. Please charge your Q-Band / Q-Watch for 10 seconds to remove power protective mode... and scan again.

(6). When searching your Q-Band / Q-Watch, please click on it. It will be connected automatically.


(7). Please press the button of your Q-Band / Q-Watch twice in 30 seconds in order to confirm the connection of the device.

(8). Now, Q-Band / Q-Watch is connected. Please click "NEXT".

(9). You have to input the correct personal information, or it will not analyze your sport data accurately.

(10). i-gotU Life will auto-detect the firmware version of Q-Band / Q-Watch, please click "NEXT" to upgrade to the latest version.
Note:
Q-Band / Q-Watch will connect to server and check the firmware version when the Q-Band / Q-Watch has first connected with phone successfully, please make sure Wi-Fi or 3G network of your phone has been turned on.

(11). When upgrading the firmware, it needs to take around 10~15 minutes. Please be patient to wait and not to close the app.

(12). If you would like to transfer the notification from phone to your Q-Band / Q-Watch, please click "Settings" to enable the Notification function.

(13). Q-Band / Q-Watch is set up successfully. Please click "Complete" to start to use.
The program will go into the main page of the app, it will show "Connected" on the left top.
You can start to use i-gotU Life.

If your Q-Band / Q-Watch is touch screen, please continue to practice the mode switching,
please follow the steps to practice, and click "Exit" to go back to main page.
